It is impossible for a person to breed better dogs until they fully understand where our breed has been...for all its strengths and weaknesses. The written and genetic legacy weighs heavily on every litter of puppies produced. As a good friend of mine so aptly puts it "one must look to the past to breed for the future".

Each one of these dogs brought something special and made a huge contribution to the NMK breeding program ... style, stamina, desire, temperament, trainability, natural hunting ability or heart stopping movement.  NMK is the sum total of all the wonderful contribution these dogs made over the years.
