"Benny"

Owner/breeder handled to his show championship at the tender age of 10 months, Benny won easily from the Bred-by class even as a baby. At the Cow Palace benched show (Golden Gate KC in San Francisco), Benny went Best GSP Puppy and Sporting Group First at only 7 months old. More recently, Benny went Best of Breed over two Nationally ranked GSP Specials and made the cut in the Sporting Group after being absent from the ring for over 9 months.

Just to prove he is much more than another pretty face, Benny garnered 8 Puppy/Derby placements in the first 6 months of 2007 and earned his Puppy field points before his first birthday. By the time 2007 came to an end, Benny had 14 placements, including firsts in Amateur Puppy and Amateur Derby AND he finished the year in the GSPCA Top Ten Puppy/Derby rankings for the whole country! Benny picked up his Open Derby points in 2008, making him the 5th littermate from the Spirit & Lucy breedings to become Dual Pointed, owner handled.

At home, away from the spotlight, Benny is a joy to live with!!! He is a sweet, gentle dog with the same hilarious sense of humor our Downtown Browne had. You almost think Benny goes out of his way to make you laugh out loud!! Benny is very friendly and outgoing - but all serious business when it comes to the field. He may be a medium sized dog, but he is very big on heart when it comes to wanting to please his humans.

We look forward to seeing what a valuable asset Benny will be to many Dual breeding programs. Benny is available at stud on a limited basis because of his field trial schedule, to approved bitches with their health clearances.
